The room at Ascot On Fenton was cozy and inviting, with a warm color scheme that made me feel right at home. The private patio with a hot tub was a fantastic bonus, offering the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day exploring Rotorua.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of jetted bathtubs in the bathrooms. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure many others would enjoy them.

We loved the distance to Rotorua City centre, the affordability of the one bedroom unit, unit 34. The private spa and all the hot water we needed, perfect size shower, well stocked kitchenette. And the service and cleanliness that the shalet maids keep our room in...Awesome job Girls! Yummy coffee....Biggest for us was the smoke free areas. We have already shared with family and friends, and work mates about our stay with Ascot on Fenton, and highly recommend this motel to anyone. We would also like to add that Ascot give discount for some of the things to do there like 10% of Rainbow springs etc...
The bed was uncomfortable. Thats all.

The owner, Mike, is a very nice fellow! Friendly, helpful with lots of good knowledge. The motel itself is a nice, comfortable clean place to stay. I love the water pressure of the shower and I enjoyed the spa bath just outside my room. It is close to town and very handy to the supermarket and liquor store across the road! The room was lovely and warm, ample towels were provided and I had such a good, solid, restful nights sleep. Definitely would stay again and recommend to others.

This place is amazing! the location is perfect. It's amazingly close to everything, including the city center and within walking distance of the lake. It's also the ideal spot if you're attending the Tikitapu event in Rotorua. Secondly, the service is top-notch. From the moment I arrived, the staff were lovely and attentive. The receptionist made me feel welcome and helped with any inquiries I had. Lastly, the room amenities were fantastic. The room had everything I needed, from ironing facilities to air conditioning. Plus, the free Wi-Fi was a great bonus.
I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Mike at the desk is friendly and efficient. Been there before and keep going back. Like the little touches like the flowers in hanging baskets.
Parking can be cramped by inconsiderate people. Upstairs studio rooms would be too small for any longer than couple of days but other rooms are terrific.

The friendly proprietor and the space.
The noise from the other units and the ground floor room was very warm..opening the windows to let some air through also let in the noise.

Friendly welcome and helpfulness of staff.
Very small room, not overly clean. Fridge, microwave, and coffee making facilities in the room but no teaspoons to make your coffee with. Also seemed a bit strange to have a microwave in the room when there was no crockery or cutlery suplied.

Staying in a motel with a private outdoor spa is the best experience ever! The beautiful and comfortable furniture made the room a paradise to relax. The owners are amazing and always willing to help and give recommendations. The location is superb as it is close to restaurants and shops.
I had a blast and wished I could stay longer. The only negative aspect was having to say goodbye to such an amazing place and people.

Think it represented value for money in a busy town
It was clean but rather tired. The room was small and lacked basic facilities eg a toaster
